Ayesha Curry Criticized for Choosing To Dress Classy Over Trendy

Ayesha Curry, wife of NBA super star Stephen Curry voiced her opinion on how she prefers to dress classy over trendy.

According to Vibe.com, Curry sent out some tweets that other women found offensive.

These tweets were posted by Ayesha Curry on December 5:

Everyone's into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters.

Just looking at the latest fashion trends. I'll take classy over trendy any day of the week. #saturdaynightinsight

and all I'm doing is sitting here reading a style weekly 😎😎😎. You guys definitely entertain me that's for sure.

Here are some of the women who responded to Ayesha's comment:

reading what Ayesha Curry said & thinking that's nice..but there's STILL a man somewhere who STILL called you a h*e at some pt  #ItJustIs

felicia jean @felicianista
Sounds as if Ayesha Curry thinks her body/other women's bodies are like consumer goods marketed exclusively for use by men, or something.

Johnetta Elzie ✔ @Nettaaaaaaaa
Frightening how @ayeshacurry's comments inspired so many men to resort to being disrespectful + threatening towards women who didn't agree.

Despite those who disagree with what Curry said there were some men who had no problem with her comment.

I see nothing wrong with what Ayesha curry said....*stares at the offended tho*

Sean. @Seantaneous

don't be mad at ayesha curry because she got a wedding ring and you can't even get ketchup with your burger.

In response to the comments Ayesha ended things by saying regardless of if you like my "style of clothes" or not (which I don't care) please do not tear women down and degrade them... Not cool peeps.

What was wrong with Ayesah's comment? Why did some women get offensive? Every woman has their own style. Some are trendy and some are classy. Is there something wrong with showing some skin? Does that make you less of a woman if you do?
