POWER S5, Ep. 4 Recap: "Will Tony Confession To His Wife Cost Him His LIfe?"

Now that Tony Teresi is out of jail Connie, Ghost, Tommy as well as some of Tony's associates were suspicious of his sudden release. On the episode "Second Chances" Tony came clean to Connie revealing that he is an informant. He claims the only reason he did it was to be with his wife before she could possible die from cancer.

It's a shame that even with Connie's illness Tony is still being dishonest with his wife. He told her he wasn't after Tommy but he really is after his son he barely knows. While Tony was in the middle of talking to Connie, Tommy showed up to tell his father about the hit on him and the family. Tony pretends to be concerned only to get information to reveal to the FBI, specifically John Mak.

So the question is will Tony's confession to his wife put a target on his back? Tony felt safe telling Connie about his plans. Connie warned him that if the family found out he would be in big trouble. Tony assured her that they won't find out. Tony seems to be confident that his secret is safe but there is no such thing as safe once you are open to revelations. Last season Tommy showed up at Connie's house unannounced. Could she be the one who reveals Tony's truth to Tommy and the family? What would you do if you were in Connie's shoes?

James aka Ghost and Angela Valdez of POWER

After ignoring Ghost's calls and messages Angela Valdez finally decides to meet up with her former lover. This sudden meet up came after Tasha got fed up with Ghost not grieving the way she felt he should have over their daughter Raina which caused her to pack her bags and leave. Angela who thought she had something going with whom she thought was in public relations, until she found out he jus used her to stop her from her big break. Valdez then became vulnerable and answered to Jamie's demands. When the two met up face to face, the conversation between the two was bland. They didn't seem to know what to say to each other after not seeing each other for so long. James asked Angela what took her so long? Angela responded by saying "I'm here now".

James then asked Angela was she ok and she shook her head no. Angela asked James was he ok and he shook his head no. And that was that!

Joe Proctor of POWER

Meanwhile John Mak is not letting go of Joe Proctor. He had his crib searched for evidence in a crime while his daughter was there. Although they didn't find anything Mak isn't going away until he brings him down. Proctor met up with Ghost to inform him about Teresi. He advised nothing about their business be discussed in front of the informant. Ghost and Kanan don't trust Teresi but Tommy is too naïve to see that his newly found father is up to no good.

Dre the amateur is making big moves in the business world but he's also headed for destruction on the other side. Dre and James met face to face when Tate introduced him as an additional face to the board. Ghost who was shocked by the news shook hands with his enemy.

Dre has a lot to learn in this game! But for right now he is sitting on top and with Tate by his side he feels he can't be stopped. Only time will tell when "Dre Day" comes, and when they come, they all coming!

'POWER' Season 6 Episode 2 Recap: "Damage Control"

There couldn't be no better title for this episode of 'Power' other than "Damage Control" because there were lots of it. One of Dre's crew members made a bad move that could put another hit out on Dre. Tommy made two foolish mistakes that could jeopardize his father Tony Teresi. While Tasha was looking for a comfortable place to grieve over the loss of their daughter Raina Ghost was reaching out to his ex aka mistress Angela Valdez.

Still Breathing!

So Tariq who knows Dre and Kanan are partially responsible for his sister's death still has yet to learn his lesson. On the premiere of 'Power' he gave Dre heads up about the hit on him. Dre managed to escape the hit putting Tommy and Ghost in a bad situation with the Italians. On top of that after one of his crew members went reckless killing a prominent associate Dre finds himself in for more than he could handle.

Undercover Boss!

In other news Angela believes someone knows Tariq is involved in Ray Ray's murder so she tries to tie up lose ends with an unlikely ally, Tasha St. Patrick. The problem is Valdez only joined forces to protect herself from being exposed. She knows Mak is own her like krazy glue so she's making sure she covers all her tracks. Sounds familiar!

On the flip side the only thing she is doing right is not being around Jamie aka Ghost. For the moment she's ignoring him but how long will that last?

Catch Him If You Can!

Joe Proctor may not have his job but he is going to fight tooth and nail to get it back. Mak wants Joe gone just as bad as he wants Angela's spot.  He tried to bribe Joe by telling him he would withdraw the complaint if he would give him info on a client. Joe refused which led Mak to go after Terry, St. Patrick's former lawyer with a subpoena.. Terry who never really liked Ghost in the first place did a good job at making Joe look bad calling his decisions unethical.

Ghost Revenge!

While Tasha was trying to find a place of solace to help her grieve Ghost (Omari Hardwick) was too busy trying to get in touch with Angela. After she didn't answer the first time he tried again. When she didn't respond he resulting to murder.

Ghost actions was clearly about revenge when he stabbed an innocent man to death. Would he have killed him if had spoken to Angela? Why was it so hard for Ghost to share grievance with his wife, Tasha?
