Safaree of reality  show 'Love and Hip Hop Hollywood' may be now known as smashing the homies wife but before that he was known as NIcki Minaj's ex. From the looks of things Nicki is about tarnish his name even more.

According to MTO, inside sources says Minaj is releasing a documentary titled "Queen" where she shed's some light on what she called an abusive relationship with ex Safaree Samuels. They added that Minaj stated that her es was mentally and physically abusive.

The insiders reported that the "Chun-Li" female rapper did not mention Safaree's name but it is evident that based on her posts on her timeline that she's talking about the 'Love and Hip Hop Hollywood' star. 

Did Safaree abuse Nicki Minaj? Did Safaree have sexual relations with A1's wife, Lyrica and get her pregnant? We all would like to know the answer to these questions. This is a case of NIcki's word against Safaree's word. Rather he did it or not, violence in a relationship is never good.

On another note, Kimberly Michelle who  also stars on 'Love and Hip Hop Hollywood' considers Safaree one of her best friends. Being that she alleged she was in an abusive relationship with her ex Memphis, might want to rethink her friendship with Safaree, if what Nicki saying is true!

Nicki got out at the right time. Who knows what would have happened if she had stayed!

Halle Berry Tells Man Who Accused Her Of Sexual Assault To "Get The F**k Off Her Page"

Right on the heels of Bill Cosby's sentencing another well known celebrity has been accused of sexual assault.

Actress Halle Berry who was accused of sexual assault by a man on Instagram set the record straight by telling him to "get the f**k off her page"!

According to MadameNoire, a man who goes by the name Wilson went to Instagram claiming he bumped into Berry at a party, and in return the 52-year-old allegedly grabbed him by his genitals and said " this is how you can say sorry". On Monday, October 1, the Oscar winner quickly responded to the allegations on Instagram saying she didn't know this man nor has she ever met him.

“I don’t know you, bruh,” responded Berry. “And you don’t get to make comments about me like this. I have never met you, nor have I ever disrespected anyone the way you have suggested. Now get a life and get the f— off my page with that bullsh–. Peace chicken grease.”

Wilson didn't respond to Berry and he didn't make any more accusations. Instead he made his page private.

Many of Berry's fans were shocked to see the Oscar award winner using the "hood" language she used on Instagram.

So Let's see in the beginning of Halle Berry's career she played in black films like "Jungle Fever", "Strictly Business" and "Boomerang" alongside comedian Eddie Murphy. Plus she is half black so why would the way she talk even be questionable!

Halle did the right thing shutting down that accusation before more men come out saying she sexual assaulted them years ago.

She has proved that she got what it takes to make it to the end.Sam went from almost getting evicted to surviving longer than some of the other strong players in this game like Scottie who came back twice, Swaggy C and Bayleigh and Fessy.

During this week's Head of Household competition Angela defeated Sam and JC by one point. It was no surprise when she put up the cocky dancer and the old-fashion southern belle up for nomination. We knew she wasn't going to put up Tyler or her rider Kaycee.

Katt Williams Speaks On Deal With Netflix And How He Really Feels About Tiffany Haddish

In a recent radio interview on "Frank and Wanda In The Morning" comedian Katt Williams had a lot to say from his deal with Netflix to dissing Tiffany Haddish. 

During the interview with Frank and Wanda in Atlanta Katt Williams revealed what he said were facts regarding his career. He said he had done more comedy specials than the late legend comedian Richard Pryor, Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle. He added that he has the top two selling stand up comedy special including "Pimp Chronicles" which has sold 2.4 million as of today, according to Williams.

When Williiams was asked about female comedian Tiffany Haddish he didn't really have nice things to say. He said she hasn't proven that she has the ability to tell jokes. He says people only like her because she was married to a white man and she doesn't deserve the roles she's been given. Wanda spoke up for Tiffany referring to her performance in "Girls Trip". She said she laughed from the beginning to the end. Williams who said he felt Haddish had been given a pass said anyone could have played her role in the film featuring Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett.

“She ain’t done a tour yet,” said Katt. She ain’t done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back-to-back for an hour to nobody,” said Katt.

In other news, Williams also shed some light on how Netflix really works. According to the 47-year-old Netflix makes offers based on ticket sales. He said since he sold two million tickets on his last stand up he was offered the same amount from Netflix. Monique who went on a rant about how she was only offered $300k assumed their was some discrimination against women involved. Katt Williams set the record straight and made it clear that it's all about the ticket sales. He included that he was offered $2 million from Netflix for the same act he did in Jackson where he received $300K!

Comedians Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish

In response to Williams attack on Tiffany Haddish, comedian Kevin Hart spoke in her defense.

I remember the days when Tiffany Haddish didn’t have not a dime in her goddamn pocket. Worked hard grinded and got to where she is today and at the height of her career when most should applaud, most should celebrate some choose to down, said Kevin Hart.

Haddish age 38 also responded telling Williams that she just want to shower him with some real love.

There's no reason to throw shade at another black person. We already have enough of that. Why can't we just embrace each other's success and suppoer one another? Williams must know he isn't at the highest of the high but it's okay if he feels that way!

Michael Jackson Honored With Street Name In Detroit

In honor of the late Michael Jackson the city of Detroit is giving the late king of pop his own street name.

According to reports, on June 15 during the weekend of the Detroit Music Festival, a section of Randolph in downtown Detroit will be renamed Michael Jackson Avenue.

During the Detroit Music Festival Michael's four brothers  Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon who will receive a key to the city are also set to perform.

Michael Jackson made his mark in the music industry when he was signed to MoTown with his brothers in the group The Jackson 5. As years went on Jackson made a well-known and memorable name for himself and became one  of the most prominent musicians of all time. 

Michael Jackson died in 2009 due to prescription overdose. He was 50 at his time of death!

DJ Quik Returns With New Music "World Girl" featuring Christian Ford

It was in 2014 when DJ Quik released his last solo album The Midnight Life. Now, four years later the Compton rapper is back with his latest track called "World Girl" featuring singer Christian Ford. 

The newly single "World Girl" is the first single from DJ Quik's upcoming tenth studio album. In this collaboration Ford and Quik express the qualities of women from different cities of all nationalities with a west coast flavor produced by DJ Quik.

Other than his previous music from earlier years like "Tonight" and "Let's Get Down" featuring Tony Toni Tone, he is mostly popular for his gangster slide hit "Get Down" featuring St. Louis rapper Chingy!

The no title album featuring the single "World Girl" is set for release this Summer through DJ Quik's Mad Science Recordings.

R. Kelly Dropped From Chicago Concert And Spotify Amid Sexual Allegations

Singer R. Kelly just can't get a break! In early January two new females came out accusing the Chicago artist of sexual misconduct. One of the accusers named Lizette Martinez claimed she was 17 years old when she lost her virginity to Kelly. She also accused the singer of physically abusing her multiple times and forcing her to have sex against her will.

Since the sexual allegations were made Kelly has addressed the allegations saying the media is trying to distort his character and destroy his legacy.

In a quest to prevent Kelly from performing at venues a #MuteRKelly campaign has started amid sexual allegations. Actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell and creator of  "Queen Sugar" AvaDuVernay also joined the campaign.

On April 30, Jurnee Smollett  posted on Instagram that she believes Kelly is guilty of abusing and having sex with underage girls.

Smollett Instagram post reads:

"A letter to our sisters. We as WOC of Times Up, recognize the responsibility we have to our sisters of all kinds, across all industries. We see you because we are you. We stand linked with our sisters and will no longer tolerate the predatory behavior of R Kelly to go unchecked. This is a call to action to #MuteRKelly. His music must be turned down and the voices of these brave survivors must be heard. We’re calling on corporations that do business with him to cut all ties with R. Kelly and insist on safety and dignity for women of all kinds. @RCARecords @Spotify @AppleMusic @Ticketmaster #MuteRKelly #TIMESUP"

She added that:

“We demand appropriate investigations and inquiries into the allegations of R. Kelly’s abuse made by women of color and their families for over two decades now. And we declare with great viligance and a united voice to anyone who wants to silence us. THEIR TIME IS UP.”

Ava also chimed in on the matter saying:

R. Kelly, 51, was also dropped from the Chicago concert at the UIC Pavillion. Spotify also removed all music by the King of R&B from their playlist.

In response to the #MuteRKelly campaign and actions taken against him Kelly stated that:

“I’ve never heard of a show being canceled because of rumors, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. … So I apologize to you guys and in the meantime, I’m going to try to get to the bottom line of it, you know, as far as my lawyers are concerned, and see exactly what happened and why I was canceled.”

With an upcoming show in North Carolina Kelly the #MuteRKelly campaign threatened to protest if they didn't cancel the concert.

Future recently dropped another single from the soundtrack Superfly also produced by the Atlanta rapper. This track is called "My Peak" and it's featuring Chicago artists Chance The Rapper and King Louie.

Last week Future dropped the first single from the soundtrack called "No Shame". On this collaboration he joined forces with Canadian rapper PartyNextDoor.

Future, Chance and Louie may have different styles of music they successfully put together a dope collaboration for the fans.

Well, well, well, looks like things are getting really messy on 'Basketball Wives LA'. On this weeks episode Tami tried her best to hold her composure but Duffy pushed her buttons to the point of no return. Meanwhile Jackie got in her feelings when no one wanted to get a buzz when she was ready to.

Even though Tami wasn't going to go on the trip to Portugal at first she decided to put her big girl panties on and give it a run. It just so happened that just as soon as we thought things were going good it ended up badly. Just when Duffy had the opportunity to express how she was really feeling. Suddenly, she changed her mind. But what happened? She made it very clear that she had no more issues after Tami addressed the fact that she was going to whip her a**, but she didn't fall through because she felt differently now. Well so much for now I guess, because she had a lot to say the following day.

As soon as Duffy said what she had to say Tami did the mature thing and got up and walked away. Somehow, someway, Duffy got amped up and  begn to speak on how she really felt which prompted Tami to make a u-turn.

When Tami reutrned to the table of drama it wasn't long before she began to came at Duffy ready for attack. Because of security and the cast mates Tami wasn't able to get to Duffy. Apparently, Duffy was able to get to her and throw some thing at her rather it ws liquid or food we are not sure but time will teel real soon.

Following the incident Tami had a hard time trying to get to Duffy because of the tight security. However, when she portrayed as if she was good and calm she ran off and Shaunie went chasing after her. 

Was Tami able to get up with Duffy? Did they fight head on?

On the next episode of 'Basketball Wives LA' Tami or Duffy is going to be asked to leave Portugal. Who will it be? Will it be Duffy or Tami? Who do you think should go home/?

Former D4L Member Shawty Lo Dead At 40

On Wednesday, September 21, rapper Shawty Lo aka Carlos Walker died following a car crash in Atlanta, according to his manager who reported the news to a radio station in Atlanta.

As reported by CNN, Shawty Lo's death which was confirmed by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office stated that the cause of the car crash is still in question. Shawty Lo was age 40 at his time of death.

Walker was the founder and member of the rap group D4L who is mostly known for the hit "Laffy Taffy", which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100 charts in 2006. "Laffy Taffy" also became the first song to make it to the Guinness Book of World Records for the most downloaded song in 2007. Lo is also known for the hit singles "Dunn Dunn" and "Dey Know" released in 2007. In 2008 Shawty Lo won for "Rookie of the Year". That same year the song "Dey Know" won for "Track of the Year".

Lo who was born in Jonesboro, Georgia leaves behind 11 children in which he hoped to showcase on a reality show called 'All My Babies' Mamas'. The show was set to air on Oxygen network in 2013 but was later cancelled.

BET: One Shot Charlotte, North Carolina: Lady Ki Rips The Mic

On the second episode of 'One Shot' hip hop artists from Charlotte, North Carolina were given their one chance to show their talents. 

There were six artists chosen to perform including Three, Leesha, Lady Ki, Milly Boy, Krome and Regalado. The judges Mike Smith, King Tech, King Crooked and guest judge RZA had a very difficult decision to make when it came to these aspiring artists.

Leesha Baby and Lady Ki both impressed the judges but which is the most marketable was the question? Leesha had the full package while all Lady Ki needed was to be herself. Between the fellas it was a no brainer. Krome threw some spanish flavor in the mix but it wasn't enough. Three was just the epitome of what a male rapper should be. 


Each artist brought something different to the stage. They had creative hooks and some had phenomenal word play. Following the deliberation between Sway and the initial judges Three and Lady Ki were chosen as the Charlotte semi-finalists.

Was Three and Lady Ki the right choice? These two artists were unique and one of a kind. Watch out New York!

Chris Brown Tested For Drugs, Posts $250,000 Bail

On Tuesday, singer Chris Brown was arrested on felony assault with a deadly weapon charges after what many are calling a stand-off. 

According to Los Angeles County jail records, the "Fine China" singer posted $250,000 bail hours following his arrest.

Brown was accused of pointing a gun in model Baylee Curran's face during a gathering at his house. The Associated Press reported that the model has visited Brown's home in the past and had never had any problems. 

TMZ reported that on Monday Brown, 27, was tested for drugs after sources claim that there were drugs at Brown's home. This accusation was made and Chris blood sample was taken before Baylee made the assault charges against him. When Baylee was asked about any drug use she became nervous, according to TMZ live. 

It was also reported that during the stand-off Brown threw a duffel bag with two guns and drugs out of the window. 

Chris Brown was not arrested on drug charges but he was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon.

Singer T-Pain Demands Media Leaves His Family Alone Following Niece Death

Sadly, singer T-Pain was hit with some devastating news when he found out his 23-year-old Javona Glover was stabbed to death at a Walgreens in Tallahassee, Florida early Tuesday, August 30.

According to news reports, Glover  who leaves behind a 2-year-old, was rushed to the hospital following the stabbing. Due to the severe injuries she later died.

While the sudden stabbing is currently under investigation T-Pain is asking that all media outlets and bloggers to leave his family alone. However, he has asked fans to help the police find the suspect who stabbed his niece.

“To all the media/news outlets and bloggers in Tallahassee: pls leave my family the f**k alone,” the "Buy You A Drank" singer posted on Twitter. “We're not here for your story. Let us be pls.”

Baltimore Protesters Called Thugs Sparks Controversy

In response to the Baltimore protesting following the death of Freddie Gray President Barack Obama as well as others have referred to the violators at "thugs".

On Monday Mayor Rawlings-Blake said:


"There is a difference between what we saw over the past week with the peaceful protests, those who wish to seek justice, those who wish to be heard, and want answers, and the difference between those protests and the thugs who only want to incite violence and destroy our city."

The following day President Obama called those protesting "a handful of criminals and thugs who tore up the place."

But not everyone feels the term "thug" is the right word to use to describe them. Kevin Shird who is a former drug dealer said he does not see the word as an accurate description of the young people who rioted and looted in Baltimore on Monday. 


"These were young juveniles. And so, in my mind I don't see a 16- or 17-year-old as a thug. I have seen thugs, and they don't look like thugs to me. My experience in life has been a little bit more extreme than that, but, again, it was criminal behavior and it can't be justified."

Former president of the NAACP Kweisi Mtume told OutFront whether we call them a thug, a law breaker, a juvenile delinquent, it really doesn't matter. He said what matters is how do we take back our streets. And that's what men have been doing, going around, talking to these young men where they, are in their face, and letting them know, they can't control this community. It is not theirs. They can't burn it down. They can't force people out and they can't threaten people.

"So I understand that, that people want to talk about a word. But I'm more worried about a movement, and it's not necessarily a movement for positive change. It's a movement for negative change right now unless we get it under control."

While there are some who feel calling them thugs is not the appropriate term NFL player Richard Sherman feels the term "thug" is just as the same as using the N word.
According to Sherman, "thug" is "the accepted way of calling somebody the n-word nowadays."

"The Wire" Cast Reacts To Baltimore Protests

Since the death of Freddie Gray Baltimore residents have been protesting and rioting against law enforcement. Some of the cast from the HBO series "The Wire" weighed in on the events pleading for peace in Baltimore.

Andre Royo who plays the drug addict Bubbles supported the protesters telling them to stand up and rise up without breaking discipline and destruction via Twitter.

Felicia Pearson who played Snoop tweeted "Please pray for my city please."

Wendell Pierce who plays William Moreland aka Bunk was not impressed with what was going on in Baltimore.


“Baltimore. These are not protesters. These are criminals disrespectful of the wishes of the family and people of good will,” he tweeted.

David Simon, former police reporter for the Baltimore Sun and the creator of "The Wire" also expressed his thoughts on the protesters in his blog saying "The anger and the selfishness and the brutality of those claiming the right to violence in Freddie Gray’s name needs to cease."

Katt Williams Facing Assault Charges

Comedian Katt Williams has more issues than he wants to admit. First, he has the balls to slap an Target employee following a police chase. But this recent move is not nothing to be smiling about!

According to reports, Williams pepper-sprayed a fan and rolled over his leg. The incident occurred when Williams and his bodyguard took matters in there own hands after a fan named Glen Jackson took a picture of the comedian. 

Williams and the bodyguard tried to grab the fan's but was unsuccessful so Jackson was pepper-sprayed. Jackson then stumbled out of the vehicle and that's when Williams ran over his leg with his Rolls Royce. To make matters worse Williams sprayed him some more while he was down. Now according to police reports, the comedian could be facing assault with a deadly weapon.

What is wrong with this dude? Katt Williams needs help! He has been getting in a lot of trouble lately from being tasered to having a car accident.

All we can do is pray for him to get better because he's not well!

Did Omarion Get Arrested?

According to the rumors, singer Omarion was arrested. According to reports, that rumor is true! Yes, indeed Omarion was arrested last weekend for a traffic violation.

The singer was accused of running a stop sign while he was driving in San Fernando Valley in California. 

Omarion was taken into custody after police learned he had a warrant out for his arrest for missing a court date due to a previous violation. The 29-year-old was held on a $20,000 bond. At least there was nothing reported saying that he was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. He should be out in no time!

Omarion may be in temporary custody but the good news is he has a new album dropping soon. Stay tuned for the former B2K member's upcoming album "Sex Playlist"!

Is Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida Getting A Divorce?

It was in 2009 when Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida tied the knot. Has there marriage now come to an end?

Previously, it was reported that Apollo was sentenced to 8 years for identity theft and fraud. He was also ordered to pay $14 million in restitution but his lawyers got it lowered down to $1.9 million which Nida agreed to pay by the grace of God. As a result to his crime and sentencing his wife, Phaedra is allegedly considering filing for divorce. 

It the reality tv couple are getting a divorce that would explain why the tension between the two is so deeply exposed on the show "Real Housewives of Atlanta".

Nida recently did an interview with comedian Rodney Perry of BE100 where he blasted his wife. When asked about his sentencing he accused his wife of not turning up for his sentencing. Really, Apollo!

It was just in 2009 when Apollo was released from prison for similar charges! They got married the same year and now share two children together. What does Apollo expect Phaedra to do? Is she suppose to wait on him? It seems like he's blaming her for his crime when really all he can blame is himself!

He was also asked if he thought his marriage would work while he's incarcerated and he said he doubted it. The 35-year-old also talked about how he is disappointed in himself for letting his sons down. He said it doesn't make you less of a man to cry or shed tears as he reflected on how he was raised as a child and how it upsetted him. Apollo also felt regrets feeling that he could pass down to his sons what was done to him.

"I'm really upset about how I was raised and I could possibly take my sons through the same thing," Apollo said.

But by the grace of God he's still young and we have many years ahead of us. I just can't make those same mistakes," Apollo added.

During the interview Apollo described his family life as hell on wheels but he said he asked God for forgiveness.

"I've forgiven myself. I had to move on like a lot of people I know who didn't," Apollo said.

Apollo should be saying thank you to his wife for keeping his illegal actions a secret. Without her he probably would have been back in prison long time ago. So this is what he's been doing all of this time. This why noone knew what he profession was on the show!

Is Tyler Perry Being Sued Again?

Play and film maker Tyler Perry is under the radar yet again! First, he was accused of stealing reality star Poprah's phrase "What Would Jesus Do" and making it his own. Now it's being said that he's being sued for false representation and fraud.

According to TheWrap, an entertainment company in Georgia is suing Perry for attempting to defraud government officials just so he could turn a military base into a movie studio. The writer/actor and the McPherson Implementing Local Redevelopment Authority (MILRA) has been accused of violating the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the U.S. Constitution.

In the court documents Ubiquitous Entertainment Studios proposed the idea to transform the McPherson military base into a studio and entertainment complex back in 2011. Perry then tried to prevent the UES from getting the deal by trying to convince McPherson that they should give him the deal. Also according to the lawsuit, a rep from McPherson gave Perry the UES's site plans, construction plans, drawings, and business plan. 

UES is also seeking compensatory damages!

Unfortunately, although this is something serious Perry has refused to comment regarding the matter!
