'POWER' Season 6 Episode 2 Recap: "Damage Control"

There couldn't be no better title for this episode of 'Power' other than "Damage Control" because there were lots of it. One of Dre's crew members made a bad move that could put another hit out on Dre. Tommy made two foolish mistakes that could jeopardize his father Tony Teresi. While Tasha was looking for a comfortable place to grieve over the loss of their daughter Raina Ghost was reaching out to his ex aka mistress Angela Valdez.

Still Breathing!

So Tariq who knows Dre and Kanan are partially responsible for his sister's death still has yet to learn his lesson. On the premiere of 'Power' he gave Dre heads up about the hit on him. Dre managed to escape the hit putting Tommy and Ghost in a bad situation with the Italians. On top of that after one of his crew members went reckless killing a prominent associate Dre finds himself in for more than he could handle.

Undercover Boss!

In other news Angela believes someone knows Tariq is involved in Ray Ray's murder so she tries to tie up lose ends with an unlikely ally, Tasha St. Patrick. The problem is Valdez only joined forces to protect herself from being exposed. She knows Mak is own her like krazy glue so she's making sure she covers all her tracks. Sounds familiar!

On the flip side the only thing she is doing right is not being around Jamie aka Ghost. For the moment she's ignoring him but how long will that last?

Catch Him If You Can!

Joe Proctor may not have his job but he is going to fight tooth and nail to get it back. Mak wants Joe gone just as bad as he wants Angela's spot.  He tried to bribe Joe by telling him he would withdraw the complaint if he would give him info on a client. Joe refused which led Mak to go after Terry, St. Patrick's former lawyer with a subpoena.. Terry who never really liked Ghost in the first place did a good job at making Joe look bad calling his decisions unethical.

Ghost Revenge!

While Tasha was trying to find a place of solace to help her grieve Ghost (Omari Hardwick) was too busy trying to get in touch with Angela. After she didn't answer the first time he tried again. When she didn't respond he resulting to murder.

Ghost actions was clearly about revenge when he stabbed an innocent man to death. Would he have killed him if had spoken to Angela? Why was it so hard for Ghost to share grievance with his wife, Tasha?

'POWER' Episode.7 Recap: "You Lied To My Face"

On this week's episode of 'Power' secrets were revealed, as well as, remained hidden, blood was shed, Tasha gave in to temptation, and the mystery behind Greg's murder is yet to be resolved. Actor Larenz Tate also guest starred in this episode.

After almost losing his life Tariq was finally back at home with his family. Unfortunately, he wasn't as happy to see them as they were to see him. Kanan who saved Tariq's and his father, James St. Patrick aka Ghost life gave Tariq his version of what happened with himself, Ghost and his mother, Tasha that led to him going to prison. When Tariq got home he immediately lashed out at Tasha. Due to the mental and emotional state he was in he proceeded to portray highly aggressive and volatile behavior towards his sister.

Tariq has so much anger for his dad that he didn't tell him the truth about Dre who knew about Kanan. Dre kept his mouth closed about Kanan and Tariq's kidnapping assuming he didn't want anything to happen to his daughter, but by the looks of things he is trying to take over the organization. Putting Dre in charge while Ghost was away was a big mistake. Let's keep in mind that Dre was working for Kanan first.

When Tommy approached Dre about Kanan he went along with Tariq's story. He also had a hand in Julio's death which will soon surface.

Silver and Tasha

While Ghost is on a mission to find out who framed him for Greg Knox murder, clearly his focus isn't on his wife, Tasha. Silver, who represented Ghost after Proctor was removed from the case had an eye for Tasha. Last week's episode of  'Power' he made some sly moves but nothing Tasha didn't pick up on. After a night of Karaoke Silver and Mrs. St. Patrick shared a passionate kiss. Following that night the two acted on their physical emotions and got even closer, bare naked! Does that mean Tasha is moving on from her husband or is she just playing Silver as part of her game?

Getting back to Greg's murder, Angela is determined to find out who killed her ex. She knows Ghost is innocent. Mike Sandoval is still trying to cover his tracks to possibly put the murder on someone else.

Tony Teresi and Ghost

Proctor who once represented Tommy warns Ghost about his partner in crime. He tells him that he's a threat which Ghost is too naive to see at the moment. As Tommy's life continues to spiral  out of control he learns that Tony Teresi who was in jail with Ghost, is his father.

With only three episodes left the mole and Greg's real murderer is closer to being revealed. In the meantime what is going to happen to Kanan. Ghost isn't just going to let what happened to his son go that easy. As Tariq continues to rebel against his parents will he run back into the arms of Kanan? As far as Dre goes once Tommy and Ghost find out he had Julio killed he will have no choice but to run to Kanan. So who will be the one to put Dre to rest? Tommy, Ghost or Kanan?

'Power' Episode 8: "Trust Me"

While this episode of 'Power' is called "Trust Me" the role of the key players have shown that you can't trust no one, not even your right hand man. Following Tommy's brutal beat down by Milan's crew he became Milan's puppet unbeknownst to Ghost. Tasha portrays recklessness by putting Lakeisha in danger while Angela become vulnerable to Greg. Kanan is out for revenge so he goes after his own kin.

Ever since Milan introduced himself to Ghost he's been quite busy with eliminating anyone who is feels is a threat to his business. On the previous episode of 'Power' he showed up at Tasha's home unannounced for dinner basically to remind Ghost that if he doesn't comply to his demands his family is good as dead. This week he showed up at Lakeisha's beauty salon unannounced thinking Tasha was alone. While Lakeisha was eavesdropping she accidentally knocked down some items on the floor which caught Milan's attention. Tasha tried to come up with a story for Milan's sudden visit but Lakeisha already knew what time it was. She wanted Tasha to get out but Tasha pleaded with her to stay. Tasha tried to pay her bestie off with hush money but unfortunately, she didn't get a chance to enjoy it thanks to Tommy who reacted on Milan's orders.

During a meeting with all the big time drug dealers Tommy introduced a new product to sell and they weren't happy with the fact that they had to pay their money up front. Most of them objected to the new order but when the Mr. Woo was stabbed to death by one of Milan's men, after he called Tommy out on killing his son, there were no other objections.

Angela who claims to no longer want to have anything to do with Jamie, showed up at Tasha's looking for information on Tommy's whereabouts when Lobos got shot. Tasha told her that Tommy was with his mother. Of course, Angela went to visit Tommy's mother and she confirmed his fake alibi. She then ran to Greg to show him video footage of Ghost being with Tasha during the murder. Later on she and Greg had an intimate session. Getting Angela in bed was apart of Greg's plan to bring Angela and Ghost down at the same time.

When it was all said and done Ghost was so busy trying to keep up with the new changes that he forgot about his son, Tariq. Dre who was told to look after Tariq took him to the gym to play basketball where Kanan just showed up out of the blue. He took over Dre's responsibility to become closer to Tariq. His plan was to kill his nephew but when he said he hated his dad that was music to Kanan's ears. Meanwhile Ghost found out the one man he thought he could trust was working with Milan behind his back.

So what now? Ghost has no one left but Tasha. Hopefully, he tells her about Tommy so she can stop confiding in him about Ghost. That's all he needs is for his wife to turn against him. Is Lakeisha really dead? How far will Angela go to save herself or will she go the extra mile to save Ghost. Angela is in too deep there's no escape now!

Stay tuned for the final two episodes of 'Power' on Starz Sunday night.

'Power" Season 3, Episode 6: "Tommy Kills Holly"

Holly's departure from 'Power' was unexpected. Now that she's gone what is Tommy going to do now?

On this week's episode of 'Power' Holly's plan to have Ghost killed failed. Just when the Jamaicans were about to light Ghost up he was saved by the bullet just like he saved Tommy. Holly pressured Tommy to kill Ghost thinking it would save both of them. Tommy continued to go against what Holly was saying and then she spilled the beans. She told Tommy she hired the Jamaicans to kill Ghost and at that moment Tommy flipped. He went in rage and choked Holly who was pregnant to her death. Can't say she didn't deserve it. Holly should have been gone the moment she started wroking with the FBI. She was pregnant but she put the baby in danger the moment she started playing Russian roulette.

Dre who started working for Ghost following Kanan's alleged death was startled when he saw Kanan in his crib, holding his daughter. He may have gotten out of Kanan's plot to get revenge that time but his best bet is to get out of dodge real soon.

Ruiz was seen talking to the FBI by Ghost attorney. He immediately thought he was going to rat on Ghost but it was Lobos instead. Ghost talked to Angela and she pulled some strings to get Ruiz off Ghost hit list and to free Lobos unbeknownst to her.

So what's going to happen now that Holly is dead and gone? Will Tommy rejoin forces with Ghost? Will Kanan use Dre to get to Ghost before he kills him? What will Ghost do about the separation papers? Will he be moving forward with the separation or will he end his sexual love affair with Angela and go back to his wife Tasha?

Stay tuned for upcoming episodes of 'Power' Sunday's on Starz!

"Power" Season 2 Finale Recap: "Ghost Is Dead"

On the finale of "Power" season 2 Ghost made some moves that turned the game upside down. First, he eliminated the competition with the exception of Lobos and his right hand man Tommy.

Ghost used Tommy to get to Kanan. Kanan fell for the bait and met up with who he thought was Tommy but it really was Ghost. Following a brutal scuffle Ghost set Kanan on fire. Tommy came on to the scene after seeing Holly and he ultimately became Ghost enemy.

Meanwhile Ghost confronted Tasha about her dealing with Shawn. He tried to make her feel guilty only to satisfy his guilt. Ghost was sleeping with Angela before Tasha found out and even if she didn't tell him to continue his affair he would have.

Angela lost her job which is not a surprise. She may have fell in love with Jamie the club owner but she also fell in love with Ghost the drug dealer. Angela went back to Jamie believing he was no longer Ghost. Could he be just telling her that so he can make his next move?

Tommy also reunited with Holly. At the same time he received a phone call from Lobos demanding he kill Ghost or he will kill him, Holly and his dog. What will Tommy do? Will he continue his loyalty to Ghost knowing he got him kept him from going to prison?

Before Ghost cuddled in Angela's arms he received the same card he placed on Kanan before he set him on fire. Is Kanan really dead?

After the first five episodes of season two "Power" was renewed for another season. Many viewers are wondering what's going to happen next. Did Kanan survive? Will Tommy kill Ghost? Is Angela pretending to be with Ghost so she can trap him? What's going to happen to Tasha? Did Ghost really leave the drug dealing business?

Stay tuned for season three of "Power" in 2016!
