The ladies of "Married To Medicine" were not all on their best behavior during the first part of the reunion but they all looked beautiful. Dr. Heavenly was put on the spot and fists were almost thrown between Dr. Simone and Toya.
It all started when Dr. Simone addressed the incident about her dancing with Toya's husband, Dr. Eugene. She admitted that she was a little out of line but her issue was how Toya handled the situation. Simone felt Toya should have talked to her in private instead of at Dr. Heavenly's event. Toya came back at Simone accusing her of being disrespectful. She wanted Simone to stop pretending as if she and her are close friends. Dr. Jackie who's been friends with Simone for a very long time said she wouldn't mind if Simone danced with her husband. However, she said if she had a problem with it she would have called her. Backstage things got heated between Dr. Simone and Toya. Toya walked away from Simone but then returned to her room when she called her a "broke a**" and other offensive names. Dr. Simone was defintely out of character. She wasn't behaving like a grown woman at all so how can she criticize Toya for how she handled the dancing with her husband situation.
Let's face it Dr. Simone and Toya never really liked each other. They just tolerated one another. Simone is always going to think she is above Toya because she works so for them to even consider being friends is pointless.
On another note there was another showdown between Mariah and Quad. They both expressed how they felt about each other. Mariah apologized for saying some of the things she said and Quad accepted. Does that mean they will be close friends again? Probably not right now but if it's meant for them to be it shall happen.
Unfortunately, Quad wasn't the only one who Mariah had a problem with. Lisa and Mariah also had some things to say towards each other and the words wasn't as pretty as Lisa was looking on that stage. Despite Mariah's feuds her new hair color looked good on her.

During the Sprite BET Celebrity Basketball game Chris Brown won MVP. Like a team player Brown gave his MVP Award to Snoop. It was a close game for team Lemon and team Lime but it was team Lemon who took the win with 69-67!
Team Lemon had some good ballers on their team like Snoop, Chris Breezy, Tyga, Bobby Valentino and Doug Christie. The Lime team also had some star players like boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, Flex Alexander, Cedric Savalas and former NFL player Terrell Owens. Team Lemon had the lead by ten by the end of the first half (38-28) but team Lime caught up quick and tied the game (67-67). The teams had to go into a round called Sudden Death where whomever makes the first basket wins! Team Lemon had the ball first and missed a shot, then team Lime got the ball and missed the shot. The ball fell into Chris Breezy hands but he didn't take the shot. Instead he passed the ball to Doug Christie and he made the shot giving his team the winning point!
Mayweather may be the greatest in the ring but basketball isn't his specialty. He managed to score a couple points but most of the time he was just throwing his muscles around.
Even though Team Lemon won Owens showed he not only has skills on the football field but also on the basketball court. Owens did play college basketball before he started playing football!
During the Slam Dunk contest it was down to the final three, Globe Trotter, Frequent Flyer and Young Hollywood. At first Flyer and Young Hollywood was tied with 50 points each. After a dunk off between the two Frequent Flyer won the contest but overall it was Young Hollywood who had the best dunk! Tamara M. Anderson @mstekeyla
This week on "Hit The Floor" Pete and Sloane just can't keep their lips off each other. Jelena's plan goes through and Derek gets busted! Since Jelena's plan to destroy Ahsha didn't work she decided to go after Ahsha's mother, Sloane. She and Zero went to dig up some dirt on the new director of the Devils but it only made things worse for the team captain. Ahsha isn't going to just sit back and continue to watch her nemacis try to make her family look any worse than they already look.
Raquel who was suppose to be helping Sloane had other plans when she found a red card in her file. Looks like Sloane is on her own again. She just doesn't know it yet. Zero also achieved his objective when he scored most of the points for his team but Derek wasn't happy about it. He knew Zero was there to steal his thunder and that's exactly what he did. In honor of Derek was a roasting session. In the beginning he seemed to be ready but as soon as he saw his mother wasn't coming he lost it. He snapped on Zero and left the party. Ahsha followed her man but the party must go on. Comedian Simore was the host of Derek's roasting session. While she was showing pictures of Derek when he was a baby a picture of Sloane with a band around her arm popped up. Thanks to Zero and Jelena's dirty scheme Sloane's past was resurfaced. It's a good thing Ahsha had left because had she been there she probably would have lost her job.
Derek was so in over his head. He couldn't bare not seeing his mother support him at a special event. While he and Ahsha were on their way to who knows where Derek was pulled over by the police. He immediately stashed his drugs in Ahsha's purse. Oh bummer! Ahsha better get ready because this is what her mother was talking about. Next week on "Hit The Floor" Ahsha will approach Jelena on what she did to her mother. Derek doesn't appear to be in jail which only means Ahsha covered for him. This year at the BET Awards there were some surprising performances specifically from singer Chris Brown. Brown was recently sentenced to a year in jail for assault charges but he was released for time served. Check out Chris Breezy's performance at the 2014 BET Awards below:
Chris Tucker was chosen to host last year's BET Awards but this year another Chris was chosen. Comedian/actor Chris Rock hosted the event and he made the best of his time. He cracked a few jokes and poked a little fun at the drama/comedy sitcom "The Game".
During the awards Brown performed his single "Loyal" with rappers Lil Wayne and Tyga joining him on the stage. Brown also collaborated with August Alsina on his hit record "I Love This" also featuring Trey Songz. Other performances on the 2014 BET Awards include Pharrell who opened the show with Missy, rappers T.I., Izzy and Nicki Minaj; singers Robin Thicke, Jennifer Hudson, Jhene Aniko, Usher and Beyonce.
The Lifetime Achievement Awards went to the amazing Lionel Richie. The only problem was they spelled his name wrong. There is no T in his last name. That's not a good sign for BET considering how African Americans are already looked down upon lol! In honor of Lionel Richie John Legend and Ledisi performed a few of his songs. Old school groups Troop, Silk and Color Me Badd brought back memories with the 90's slow jams "All I Do Is Think of You", "Freak Me" and "I Wanna Sex You Up".
It was such a honor to see Phylicia Rashad who gave a phenomenal speech in remembrance of the late Maya Angelou who passed away this year on May 28th and Ruby Dee who also passed away this year on June 11th. Congrats to all the winners! Tamara M. Anderson @mstekeyla
It was just last fall when comedian/actor/talk show host Arsenio Hall made his return to late night television. Many people, specifically African Americans were glad to see Arsenio make a come back. He had many guests on his show. Some who hadn't been on any talk show in years!
On September 9th, the Arsenio Hall show premiered on WGN. His first guests were comedian/actor Chris Tucker and West Coast rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg. One of the greatest performers and artists of all times, Prince performed new songs from his new album on the Arsenio Hall Show.
Recently, it was announced that the Arsenio Hall show will be cancelled and it will not return for another season. The reason for the cancellation is because it didn't bring in enough viewers for the network.
Arsenio had many great celebrities on his show like actress Nia Long, the cast of "The Best Man Holiday", Gabrielle Union, Angela Bassett, Tiki Sumpter from "The Haves and Have Nots"; actors Mekhi Phifer, Joe Morton, Shemar Moore; reality stars Nene Leakes, the cast of "Real Housewives of Atlanta", the cast of "R&B Divas" and the cast of "Basketball Wives LA".
The show was filled with many surprises like a performance from actress and singer Tatyana Ali. Ali is mostly known for her role as Ashley on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air".
Arsenio had plenty of performers like rappers, Kanye West, Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, T.I., and legend rappers Kid N Play; singers R. Kelly, T-pain, K. Michelle, El Debarge, Seven Streeter; comedians Paul Mooney, Earthquake, George Wallace, Lil Duval and Bill Bellamy!
Model Tyra Banks, hip hop mogul Russell Simmons, Queens rapper Nas, The cast of "Single Ladies", The Game and his long time friend Eddie Murphy were also guests on the show!
The Arsenio Hall show will be missed. It was the only platform that African Americans had for the time being. Most talk shows don't have as many African American celebrities on their show as Arsenio had. Comedian Katt Williams was a guest on his show and for him that was truly a blessing!
JB Smoove was the last guest on the show as it ended it's run on May 21st!
It's a shame that the show didn't bring in enough viewers to continue for another season. Not enough people tuned in to watch the show. Not enough of a wide variety of people tuned in to watch the show. Unlike other talk shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live and David Letterman who brings in all kinds of viewers, The Arsenio Hall show mostly brought in African American viewers. This week on "Hit The Floor" Ahsha and German shared a kiss thanks to Jelena. Kyle ran into one of her old flings and Chase takes a plea deal. Jelena is the true villain and she's out to get Ahsha at any cost. She's sleeping with Zero behind closed doors and working hard to get the goods on Ahsha's secret. Following the Devils performance Ahsha and German were put in a trick bag where they were forced to share a kiss. Derek felt some type of way about it but Ahsha made up for it later. Raquel and Pete were on their way to San Fransisco when his ex-wife decided to spoil it all. She told Raquel some things that made her want to turn the plane around and go back to LA. Pete was in the dark but he got down to the bottom of it later. His ex admited she wanted him back. Pete let her down easy and made things right with he and Raquel. Chase tried to get Sloane to help him. He swore he didn't kill his wife, Olivia, but he did plant her body in the sand as a message to Oscar. Oscar wanted Chase to admit he killed Olivia and he refused. What's really going on? Jelena has some secrets of her own and it could have something to do with Mia. She's so busy trying to expose Ahsha that she too is sleeping with a basketball player! Tamara M. Anderson @mstekeyla
On episode two of "Hit The Floor" Ahsha spilled the beans about her mother and father to Raquel during Olivia's burial service. Ahsha is angry at her parents for not telling her their secret but at the same time she's digging a worse hole for herself. She doesn't only have her parents to worry about but also her ex-boyfriend German who is now the assistant basketball coach to her father Pete! She doesn't want people to know she and Derek are an item which won't be a secret for long. What is she going to do then? Jelena is still out to get her so she might want to watch the bridges she's burning down. Zero finally got what he wanted from Jelena. She is playing right into his hands. While Oscar is more concerned about his investment he showed little concern about Olivia's death. Jelena had a hard time speaking in honor of the late Devils director. Tamara M. Anderson @mstekeyla
