'Love And Hip Hop Atlanta' Recap: "Tommie Gets Fired Following Altercation With Security"

This week on 'Love and HIp Hop Atlanta' things got really bad for Tommie Lee. Unfortunately, the cast will no longer be able to film with their feisty co-star following an altercation with security.

Rasheeda invited the ladies out to invite them to her grand opening for Pressed in Houston. Everything was going fine until Tommie showed up intoxicated. While they were sipping on wine, Tommie added Hennessey to her wine before she proceeded to go after Spice. Spice had some concerns about Tommie's actions but Tommie was in another space. She immediately started being verbally abusive toward security which ultimately led to her being physical. As a result of Tommie's drunken behavior she was booted from the show. When the production crew brought it to the cast attention they too became even more concerned.

Before Tommie attacked security she said that things were deeper with her and Spice. Whatever she is going through is causing her to over consume alcohol. We have watch Tommie struggle with issues with her mother, sister, Scrapp, Karen King and co-cast members. She has even been in altercations with others outside of filming

Although Tiarra may mean well, she is barking up the wrong tree. She already knows how Rasheeda feels about Jasmine in her space and yet she continues to spark the fire. Jasmine clearly doesn't understand her place. She feels because she has a child with Kirk that she can just pop up. Tiarra may be at fault for bringing her to Houston against Just Brittany wishes but Jasmine is a grown woman. She should know better!

In the mist of all the hoopla going on, Tokyo was feeling some type of way about messy Karlie. She feels that she ambushed Sierra when she brought BK's side pieces to meet her. Then she felt like Karlie ambushed her when she told her that Tobias has moved on with Spice. Karlie was on a mission to make amends but Tokyo wasn't giving in. Karlie may have been trying to do a good thing by telling Sierra about her new boo but she lost her boo because of it!

Also on 'Love and Hip Hop Atlanta' it was revealed that Jessica and her boo will be having a baby girl!

'Basketball Wives' S7, Ep3 Recap: "For All Is Done Will Not Be Forgiven"

Things are getting heated on 'Basketball Wives' but the pot isn't boiling just yet!

What turned out to be a joke about ended up causing more chaos than to be expected. Evelyn and Jen may have thought they didn't do anything wrong but had the shoe been on the other foot, neither one of them would have been laughing. To make matter worse they tried to put it off on Kristen just to save face. Jennifer stirred the pot when she offered Kristen vodka thinking that she would be truthful. This is what you call pointing the finger but Kristen stood her ground. Cece was right! Jen and Evelyn were definitely trying to cause a rift between the two.

Kristen was not at all afraid of Jen. In fact, while she was giving out vodka calling it truth serum, looks she's the one who was offering the truth and didn't even know it. Jen definitely has some explaining to do. In the middle of her and Kristen argument she said she was going to court because of someone making false accusations about her, but on the first episode she claim she was going to court to get restraining order against her ex because he was stalking her. Now which one is it?

This season of 'Basketball Wives' Jennifer has been really stirring the pot. After being invited to a bbq by OG she tried to get Evelyn and Tami to squash their beef. Unfortunately, that didn't go so well. Tami asked Evelyn about her impersonating her and Evelyn didn't hold her tongue. Ev and Jackie then went at it over something of the past. 

Ev made it clear that she will never forgive Jackie for what she said about her daughter. It's also clear that Ev and Tami will never be friends!

These ladies are a bit too old to be arguing over something so petty. However, it seems like they are just looking for a reason to be mad at one another. Evelyn is no different than Jackie. She and Jen made a joke that could have tampered with that woman's career. It's no different than Jackie calling Ev's daughter a build-a-w***e! IJS!

The new season of 'Black Ink Crew Chicago' has began and it's already a mess in 9Mag!

Out of spite for what Ryan considered family turning against him, he decided to destroy the tattoo shop leaving Van to pick up the pieces. Ryan made sure noone was going to make any money at the shop. Although Charmaine still has her weekend job at WGCI and Phor is making big moves in his music career, the rest of the employees don't have a back up plan.

Ryan had no remorse for what he did to 9Mag. He felt everyone turned against him because of what transpired between he and Kat. He felt as if Van took the females side over his. Ryan made it clear that he wants nothing else to do with 9Mag. He also revealed that the lease would be up in a week. With Ryan walking away will Van be able to save 9Mag?

Don and Ashley

Looks like Don is living up to his male thottish ways again! He then got himself in some more trouble but this time it might be over for him for good. Don cheated on his wife Ashley of two years and he didn't even try to hide it. Don already cheated on Ashley with Charmaine, had a baby on Ashley with a random chick, had a fling the day before he got married and let a chick give him head on snap chat.  Unfortunately, Ashley isn't so forgiving this time. She said Don crossed the line this time but he crossed the line a long time ago when he had sex with Charmaine in the first season.

Now that 9Mag is on it's last leg what is Van and the rest of the crew going to do now? From the looks of things like Richard aka O S**t of 'Black Ink Crew New York', Don can't afford to unemployed with three kids and a possible fourth!

Saints And Sinners S3 Finale Recap: "Cypress Goes Up In Flames"

On the finale of 'Saints and Sinners' season 3 Lady Bird got what she deserved. She may have thought she got off with her lawyer but her daughter mayor Ella Marie Johnson had other plans. Not only did she leave her mother with nothing she made sure she wasn't able to cause anymore problems for her by having her committed to a mental institution.

While Ella was on a rant of abusing her power by firing spree when she fired Detectives Hawkins and Noah St. Charles, her daughter Chrissy played by Jasmine Burke was strapped. But of course, Ella already knew that. Chrissy couldn't stand to deal with the guilt of playing a part in Tamara and Miles baby so she did the right thing and got them their baby back. Her grandmother would not have been too happy but it doesn't matter what she thinks now!

Tamara and Miles weren't the only ones who were reunited with their child. Gloria who had been locked up for years thanks to Lady Byrd was reunited with her son Jabari thanks to Malik. Malik hasn't even been on the scene long ans he has already taken over Cypress. Will his brother Jabari join forces with him or will he stay with Rex and become his competition instead?

Since mayor Ella became in a power of position she's been trying to keep it by eliminating all of those who can expose her. Like her mother, Ella doesn't have any friends, except for Rex, but how long will that last? 

Rex is playing both sides to get what he wants from both Ella and Jabari. He knows Ella hired a hit on Jabari which will eventually come out. With Malik in charge how far will Rex and Ella go to bring him down? 

In the end of the finale of 'Saints and Sinners' Rex did the unthinkable and set the church on fire. That fire is the ending of new beginnings but will it help Rex regain his position of power?

Well now that season 3 has come to an end we will truly miss Levi played by Christian Keyes and Paige played by Karlie Redd. Karlie proved that she is more than just a reality star. Gotta give the 'Love and Hip Hop Atlanta' star props on her acting skills.

Michael Jackson Honored With Street Name In Detroit

In honor of the late Michael Jackson the city of Detroit is giving the late king of pop his own street name.

According to reports, on June 15 during the weekend of the Detroit Music Festival, a section of Randolph in downtown Detroit will be renamed Michael Jackson Avenue.

During the Detroit Music Festival Michael's four brothers  Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon who will receive a key to the city are also set to perform.

Michael Jackson made his mark in the music industry when he was signed to MoTown with his brothers in the group The Jackson 5. As years went on Jackson made a well-known and memorable name for himself and became one  of the most prominent musicians of all time. 

Michael Jackson died in 2009 due to prescription overdose. He was 50 at his time of death!

Two Black Women Makes History Becoming First Pilots Of Alaska Airlines

First Black Female Pilots of Alaska Airlines

Congratulations to Captain Tara Wright and Officer Mallory Cave on becoming the first Black women to fly a plane in Alaska!

According to KTVA, Sunday, on Mother's Day, Captain Tara Wright and Officer Mallory who were apart of the first ever Black women flight crew, flew Flight 361 from San Francisco to Portland. Before take off the pilots spoke to the passengers on the intercom to announce that they were apart of history while making a video for Facebook.

“Finally, you’re sharing a pretty interesting piece of Alaska Airlines history this morning,” Wright told passengers, who erupted into applause. “You’ll be piloted by two female African-American pilots for the first time in the airline’s history.”

Becoming the first Black female pilots is an extraordinary accomplishment, especially since Black female employees in the airline industry is very rare. Similar to deck crews and captains in the boating industry most of the employees are White. 

According to the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 72 percent of airline employees are White and 60 percent of them are male. Across various airlines 91 percent of pilots and 73 percent of flight attendants are white, with only 9 percent being female.

Tragic News: Ten Students Killed In Texas School Shooting

Sadly, innocence was taken this morning at a school in Houston, Texas!

According to CNN, early Friday morning a gunman entered a high school in Santa Fe, Texas with a shotgun and a revolver and killed ten students. 

Unfortunately, it was reported that ten more students were wounded and immediately taken to the hospital. Updated reports state that six of them have been treated and released. One is in fair condition and one is in critical condition.

Dimitrios Pagourtzis, 17 the alleged gunman who was taken into custody also had explosive devices with a molotov cocktail located in the school and close by. He is a student at the Santa Fe high school and plays for the junior varsity football team. 

So why didn't the shooter kill himself?

According to Gov. Greg Abbott, the gunman told authorities that he had intentions on taking his own life but he didn't have the courage to do so.

Abbott also stated that this attack was one of the most heinous attacks they have ever seen in the history of Texas schools. Authorities said that it was one of the nation's deadliest attacks since the Florida massacre.

DJ Quik Returns With New Music "World Girl" featuring Christian Ford

It was in 2014 when DJ Quik released his last solo album The Midnight Life. Now, four years later the Compton rapper is back with his latest track called "World Girl" featuring singer Christian Ford. 

The newly single "World Girl" is the first single from DJ Quik's upcoming tenth studio album. In this collaboration Ford and Quik express the qualities of women from different cities of all nationalities with a west coast flavor produced by DJ Quik.

Other than his previous music from earlier years like "Tonight" and "Let's Get Down" featuring Tony Toni Tone, he is mostly popular for his gangster slide hit "Get Down" featuring St. Louis rapper Chingy!

The no title album featuring the single "World Girl" is set for release this Summer through DJ Quik's Mad Science Recordings.

'Hustle & Soul' Season 2 Finale: "Bomb Droppers And Retaliation Scheme"

If you remember what happened on the finale of 'Hustle & Soul' season one, Candice dropped a bomb when she alleged that Thandi was pregnant by Chef Lawrence. As it turned out that rumored was not true.

This season on 'Hustle & Soul' Candice continued to drop bombs. First, she claimed Ana and Lawrence offered to pay her to watch them have sex. She also revealed to Cola that Thandi and Ana were both in a intimate relationship with Lawrence. When Cola repeated what was said in front of everyone Thandi went on attacked mode.

On the finale of 'Hustle & Soul' season two Ana dropped a bomb about Candice. She basically gave her side on what happened between herself, Lawrence and Candice. According to Ana, Candice did more than what Candice led on. In fact, Ana gave more details than the story Candice gave. 

Ana and Candice are the Mimi and Joseline of 'Love and Hip Hop Atlanta'. They claim to not like each other but they on the DL rubbing each other kitties.

Poor Thandi! She worked so hard at trying to take Lawrence away from Ana but he made his choice the night he proposed. To get Lawrence back Thandi used her seductive charm to get Lawrence to have sex with her. When Lawrence told Ana what he had done she was mad at first but that didn't stop her from signing them partnership papers. Thandi thought she had him but Lawrence proved to her that Ana isn't going anywhere. The question is what is Thandi going to do next? Because we all know how devious she can be. It ain't over!

Meanwhile the twins were having their first fashion show when Lawrence got word that Candice and Jon Jon were downstairs. Lawrence and Ana immediately got on defense mode. Lawrence and Jon Jon went for another round and Ana attacked defenseless Candice again! Following the fight Cola was stuck in the middle. She wanted to be there for her man but felt like he and Candice came there to fight. Candice claim they just came to support the twins but we all know she and Jon Jon were on a personal mission.

Following the twins fashion show Lawrence and Ana celebrated their engagement. Unfortunately, none of the staff attended the party except the twins. Thandi obviously wasn't invited but the rest of the crew decided not to show up on purpose.

Candice, Sana and Jon Jon who are no longer employed at The Pink Tea Cup agreed to go into business together with the mission to bring Chef Lawrence down. Cola who was not apart of the plan in the beginning addressed the issue she had with Sana taking a pic with Jon Jon. Hmmmm, don't they have an open relationship? Maybe Cola and Jon Jon should go into business together on their own. Candice and Sana can go back to The Pink Tea Cup and they can all be back together again.

Now that the season is over what is going to happen on season 3 of 'Hustle & Soul'? Will Lawrence and Ana be a married couple with another child on the way? Is it really over between Lawrence and Thandi? 

Things may have ended on a sour note for some. On the flip side congrats to Lawrence and Ana! We wish you all the best!

R. Kelly Dropped From Chicago Concert And Spotify Amid Sexual Allegations

Singer R. Kelly just can't get a break! In early January two new females came out accusing the Chicago artist of sexual misconduct. One of the accusers named Lizette Martinez claimed she was 17 years old when she lost her virginity to Kelly. She also accused the singer of physically abusing her multiple times and forcing her to have sex against her will.

Since the sexual allegations were made Kelly has addressed the allegations saying the media is trying to distort his character and destroy his legacy.

In a quest to prevent Kelly from performing at venues a #MuteRKelly campaign has started amid sexual allegations. Actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell and creator of  "Queen Sugar" AvaDuVernay also joined the campaign.

On April 30, Jurnee Smollett  posted on Instagram that she believes Kelly is guilty of abusing and having sex with underage girls.

Smollett Instagram post reads:

"A letter to our sisters. We as WOC of Times Up, recognize the responsibility we have to our sisters of all kinds, across all industries. We see you because we are you. We stand linked with our sisters and will no longer tolerate the predatory behavior of R Kelly to go unchecked. This is a call to action to #MuteRKelly. His music must be turned down and the voices of these brave survivors must be heard. We’re calling on corporations that do business with him to cut all ties with R. Kelly and insist on safety and dignity for women of all kinds. @RCARecords @Spotify @AppleMusic @Ticketmaster #MuteRKelly #TIMESUP"

She added that:

“We demand appropriate investigations and inquiries into the allegations of R. Kelly’s abuse made by women of color and their families for over two decades now. And we declare with great viligance and a united voice to anyone who wants to silence us. THEIR TIME IS UP.”

Ava also chimed in on the matter saying:

R. Kelly, 51, was also dropped from the Chicago concert at the UIC Pavillion. Spotify also removed all music by the King of R&B from their playlist.

In response to the #MuteRKelly campaign and actions taken against him Kelly stated that:

“I’ve never heard of a show being canceled because of rumors, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. … So I apologize to you guys and in the meantime, I’m going to try to get to the bottom line of it, you know, as far as my lawyers are concerned, and see exactly what happened and why I was canceled.”

With an upcoming show in North Carolina Kelly the #MuteRKelly campaign threatened to protest if they didn't cancel the concert.

Future Drops Second Track From Superfly Soundtrack Featuring Chance The Rapper And King Louie

"My Peak" Future ft. Chance the Rapper and King Louie

Future recently dropped another single from the soundtrack Superfly also produced by the Atlanta rapper. This track is called "My Peak" and it's featuring Chicago artists Chance The Rapper and King Louie.

Last week Future dropped the first single from the soundtrack called "No Shame". On this collaboration he joined forces with Canadian rapper PartyNextDoor.

Future, Chance and Louie may have different styles of music they successfully put together a dope collaboration for the fans.

'Black Ink Crew NY' Season 6 Finale Goes Out With A BANG!

The season finale of 'Black Ink Crew NY' went out with an epic bang! Out of nowhere Jadah attacked Tatiana and she didn't even know why. Jadah claimed she attacked Tati because she was all over Teddy and she didn't like to be played. But wait! When did her and Teddy become a couple? With the way things ended we can pretty much tell it ain't over between Jadah and Tati. Now that Sky knows Jadah and Teddy really did hook up, Tati isn't the only one Jadah is going to have to worry about.

While Sky thought she was going to be on a vacation in Miami alone, she was not surprised to see the crew when they interrupted her zen moment. She demanded an apology from Kevin aka the sperm stealer.  Kevin didn't feel he owed Sky an apology. If anything Sky should have been thanking him because she could have gotten the sperm she wanted! The good news is despite the crew crashing Sky's vacation she enjoyed some memorable time with her son.  Sky may not have a close relationship with her son Genesis but at least she's able to be happy with one of them.

Once again Donna allowed her bad actions cost her the man she claimed to love. Mo popped up in Miami unexpectedly and attacked Alex. Mo was upset with Donna for the encounter she had with Alex in the bathroom that went viral. Another chapter in Donna's life that has come to an end. 

Before the finale of 'Black Ink Crew NY' Alex confessed his true feelings for Donna. His confession could not have came at a better time. Mo walked out and made it easier for Alex to walk right on in. Well, you know what they say, "When one door closes another will open"!

When it was all said and done things ended on a good note after all. Ceasar aka Tony Montana pulled off a great party with his new boo on his arm. Is Ceas ready to settle down again? Could she be his wife-to-be? Although Ceas and Kitty tried to see if they could make it work for a second time, it's pretty obvious that they should just remain friends.  Kitty is a beautiful woman so hopefully, she finds her night and shining armor soon!
